Details	A study of crime and criminals in the United States with a focus on the varieties of criminal behavior and the nature and extent of crime in our society. A core component of this course is an examination of the theoretical interpretations and developments in the explanation of crime and criminal behavior. Prerequisite: CJ 202 or SOWK 215. (Yearly)
