DetailsThis course surveys the processes of sensation and perception at physiological, behavioral and experiential levels. Topics include physiological and psychophysical research methods, sensory processing, brain mechanisms of perception, behavioral correlates of perception, and issues of perceptual impairment. Special emphasis is given to visual and auditory perception. Prerequisite: PSYC 216 or consent of instructor. (F)
