| | | Details | This course acquaints students with findings, principles and theories within the field of animal learning. Traditional theories of learning are examined along with selected topics pertaining to the process of motivation. Course emphases include classical conditioning, operant conditioning and, to a lesser extent, social learning. Thus, students will implement both a classical conditioning and an operant conditioning procedure. Prerequisite: PSYC 216 or consent of instructor. (F, Sp) |
