Details	An introduction to the study of wave generation and propagation. The mathematical theory will be illustrated by concrete examples drawn from music, geophysics, and other branches of physics. Designed for students of physics and physical science. Prerequisites: PHYS 162, PHYS 361 or MATH 266.(Sp, alternate years)
