Details	The evolution and characteristics of French poetic forms from the Middle Ages to the present. Development of the technique of explication de texte, using representative poetry from Villon to the present is emphasized. The course is taught in French. Prerequisite: FREN 302 or consent of instructor. (not offered on a yearly basis)
