Details	The critical period of transition in European history from the end of the Middle Ages into early modern times. Study of the Renaissance from economic, social, political, and cultural aspects beginning in Italy and eventually including all of Europe, concluding with movements in England, France and Spain. Prerequisite: HIST 101 or consent of instructor. (Sp, alternate years)
