Details	This is a writing intensive course. A survey of the discipline of geography, including the development of the discipline, geographic source materials and methodologies, field methods and experience, and the subfields of the discipline. Students will identify and carry out research on a field of their choice under the supervision of an appropriate faculty member. Written and oral presentation of research results. Prerequisite: geography major with junior or senior standing.(Sp)
