DetailsThis course is an introduction to the study of plant diseases. Students will study the general characteristics, classification, life cycles and control measures of representative groups of plant pathogens. The course also explores the epidemiology and genetics of plant disease as well as the impact of biotechnology on the field of plant pathology. Special course fee is required. Prerequisite: BIOL 150, and BIOL 210 or CROP/HORT 161. (F)
