Details	This course should be taken during a biology major's first semester at UW-RF. The course includes presentations by staff members from biology, career services and the library. Students will write a career paper in world wide web page format, based on a search of internet resources, library resources, and an interview with a professional in the chosen field. This web page document will be the first entry in a professional portfolio that each biology major will maintain throughout his or her undergraduate career. Students will learn computer techniques necessary to compile this portfolio and post it on the world wide web. During their senior year, the completed portfolio will be presented in BIOL 410, Senior Colloquium. (F)
