| | | Details | Studio Ceramics will focus on the experimental uses of clay and clay processes. Students will utilize multiple firing methods, earthenware and stoneware clays, glazes and un-fired practices. There will be directed projects with an emphasis on ideas, conceptual development, and wheel and handbuilding techniques. Students will be free to explore and experiment with their own ideas under guidance of the faculty instructor. Materials fee is required. Prerequisites: Art 227 or consent of instructor. (F, Sp) |
