DetailsThis course introduces land use planning history, as well as current theories and methods. Important physical, natural, and spatial components will be included by incorporating a capability analysis approach to determine proper development options based on site characteristics. Rural and urban development patterns are studied along with local land use controls, including zoning ordinances and subdivision regulations.(F, Sp)
