Details	This is a writing intensive course. An introduction to the principles of paleontology as well as the taxonomy, morphology and biostratigraphy of major invertebrate and vertebrate fossil groups. Special topics in evolution will be discussed. Laboratory and field trip required. Prerequisite: GEOL 150.(F)
