DetailsThis course provides an introduction to the theory and application of atmospheric sciences. Physical processes of the atmosphere will be emphasized including: nature and composition of atmosphere, solar radiation and earth's heat balance, humidity, condensation, precipitation, clouds, air pressure, winds, global circulation, weather fronts, thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, weather forecasting and weather maps, and meteorological optics.
