| | | Details | The course covers an in-depth examination of current nutritional concepts pertaining to dairy cattle. Scientific rationale for nutrient requirements, feedstuff evaluation and recommended feeding practices will be discussed along with integration of biological models with economic principles and practical applications. Students will gain extensive practice in sound ration formulation procedures, both manually and by computer. Prerequisites: AGBI 251, ANSC 306. (Sp) |
