Faculty Gain Promotions, Tenure

Eleven UW-River Falls faculty members were granted promotions or tenure during recent action by the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents.

Here are the personnel actions by college and department:

College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences

Agricultural Economics: Nathan Splett, promoted to associate professor and granted tenure.
Plant & Earth Science: Eric Sanden, promoted to associate professor.

College of Arts and Sciences

Art: Randy Johnston, granted tenure.
English: David Furniss, promoted to professor; Marshall Toman, promoted to professor.
Geography: Charles Rader, promoted to associate professor and granted tenure.
Math & Computer Systems: Hossein Najafi, promoted to professor.

College of Education & Graduate Studies

Counseling & School Psychology: Donald Stovall, promoted to associate professor.
Health & Human Performance: Betsy Barrett, promoted to associate professor.
Social Work: Ogden Rogers, promoted to associate professor.
Teacher Education: Geoffrey Scheurman, granted tenure.
