Foundation Re-elects Gansluckner as President
Lawrence R. Gansluckner was re-elected President of the UW-River Falls Foundation at the annual meeting on June 10.
Gansluckner is a 1960 UW-RF graduate with majors in economics, political science and an elementary education teaching degree. He has served on the UW-RF Foundation Board of Directors since June, 1991.
Gansluckner launched his career in Eau Claire as a teacher, served as an administrative assistant to the late congressman Lester Johnson, and since 1969 and has been involved in financial services in various capacities. He currently represents the Principal Financial Group as a registered representative in the Eau Claire area.
His other responsibilities include serving as chairperson of the Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors (1978 to 1982) and treasurer of the Chippewa Valley Technical College Board of Directors (1983 to 1989). He currently serves as vice-chair of the Development and Training Center Board of Directors in Eau Claire.
The UW-River Falls Foundation has grown 23 percent this past year and now has total assets of $4.6 million for the benefit of students and faculty at UW-River Falls.
