Students Schedule Literary Readings

Students from UW-River Falls will read some of their most creative works at the next event of a student reading series sponsored by the English department.

This readings will be held at Brandy's in the Hagestad Student Center from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on each of these dates: March 14, April 4, April 25, and May 9.

At each of the readings, four students will read their written works of poetry, fiction and non-fiction. This public forum allows students to voice their ideas and opinions about life while gaining confidence in their writing.

The students' expressions often inspire other writers and audience members to write and provide new outlooks on community issues, says the originator of the event, English Professor Jenny Brantley.

They are free and open to the public.

Fore more information, call Brantley at 715/425-3173.
