UW-River Falls Commencement December 18

An expected 278 bachelor's and master's candidates will participate in commencement ceremonies at UW-River Falls on Saturday, Dec.18.

The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. in the Robert P. Knowles Physical Education and Recreation Center. The commencement address will be delivered by animal and food science chair Perry Clark, the University's 1999 Distinguished Teacher.

Receiving recognition with the University's Outstanding Service Award will be Susan Treinen of Fair Isaac Corp.; Genex/CRI of Shawano; and the citizens of the Towns of Clifton, Troy, River Falls and Kinnickinnic, as well as the City of River Falls and Pierce County. The latter award will be presented at UW-RF's 125th anniversary celebration set for May 10.

Conferring degrees will be Provost and Vice Chancellor Robert Milam; Dean William Anderson of the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences; Dean Karen Viechnicki of the Graduate School and College of Education; Dean Gorden Hedahl of the College of Arts & Sciences; and Business Administration Department Chair Jacque Foust for the School of Business and Economics.
