UW-River Falls to Hold Financial Aid Advisement Night
UW-River Falls will host a financial aid advisement program for high school seniors and their families on Monday, Jan. 5, from 7-9 p.m. in the Abbott Concert Hall of the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building. The doors will open at 6 p.m.
The program will provide an opportunity for parents and students to learn what they need to know about the financial aid process.
UW-RF presenters will include Chancellor Ann Lydecker, financial aid director David Woodward, and assistant directors Beth Boisen and Margaret Thorne. Presenters will provide information on the 2004-05 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, state and federal financial aid programs, sensible borrowing, the electronic application process and college costs.
Financial aid counselors will be available to answer all questions and concerns. The program is of interest to all persons and their families with members who intend to continue their education after high school. A scholarship raffle for high school seniors will be held. Students must be present to win.
