UW-River Falls Sets Homecoming Activities

UW-River Falls will celebrate homecoming activities on Oct. 16-18 with numerous reunions for alumni and frieds.

Here is a listing of the many scheduled events;

Friday, Oct. 16 - Friday Night Frolic DJ Dance with Royalty Coronation & Organization Awards. 8 p.m., Brandy's, Hagestad Student Center

Events for Saturday, Oct. 17, include:

¥Alumni/Friends Registration and Reception 10-11 a.m., Deli Area, Hagestad Student Center. Join classmates and friends for a continental breakfast and refreshments before Freddy's Tailgate at Ramer Field.

¥5K Walk-Run-Bike & Roll, 8 a.m., begins at Hagestad Student Center Mall Area.

¥Homecoming Bookstore Sale, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Bookstore, Hagestad Student Center. The UW-RF Bookstore will have sales on selected alumni apparel. The bookstore will also have a booth at Freddy's Tailgate in the Big Tent.

¥Campus Tour, 10:30 a.m., departs from the Deli Area, Hagestad Student Center. The Student Alumni Association will provide a guided tour of the campus lasting about 45 minutes.

¥Freddy's Tailgate, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Ramer Field. Join alumni, friends, and parents under the Big Tent for a brat and beer feed near the concession stand.

¥Football Game, UW-Stout vs UW-River Falls, 1 p.m., Ramer Field.

¥Women's Soccer, Gustavus Adolphus vs UW-RF, 2 p.m., Ramer Field

Sunday, October 18 - Alumni Homecoming Concert, Alumni Choir Rehearsal, 10 a.m., 134 Kleinpell Fine Arts Building. Mass Choir Rehearsal, 1:30 p.m., 134, Kleinpell. Concert, 3 p.m., William Abbott Concert Hall The concert is free and open to the public. Music selections by UW-RF Chamber Singers, Alumni Choir, UW-RF Concert Choir, Combined Choirs.

There also will be numerous special Homecoming Reunions on Saturday, Oct. 17:

¥Alumni Marching Band Reunion, 10 a.m.-noon, Emma's Bar (all marching Falcons welcome) noon, Freddy's Tailgate at Ramer Field.

¥Football Alumni Reunion, 9 a.m., Team Breakfast at Rodli Commons. Post-game, Fifth Quarter Reception at PR's Place.

¥1958 Football Championship Team Reunion. 9 a.m., Team Breakfast at

Rodli Commons. Half-time, special recognition of the 1958 Championship Football Team. Post-game, Fifth Quarter Reception at PR's Place.

¥Hockey Alumni Reunion, 10 a.m.-noon, Alumni Hockey Game. Noon, Freddy's Tailgate at Ramer Field. 1 p.m., Football Game and Post-game reception at Coach's Bar & Grill.

¥Theta Chi Alumni 30th Anniversary Reunion. 9 a.m.-noon, meeting at

Rodli Commons, Room 139 6:30 p.m., Dinner at Hudson House.

¥Wrestling Alumni Reunion, 10 a.m., Reception at Coach's Bar & Grill, 11 a.m., lunch. 1 p.m., Football game at Ramer Field.
