Poet Robert Schuler to Read

Robert Schuler will bring his poetry to UW-River Falls for a reading Oct. 30 from 3:30-5 p.m. in Room 119 of the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building. Schuler, who is an English professor at UW-Stout, has titled his latest volume of poems, "Grace: A Book of Days."

Works by Schuler appear in two anthologies of Midwestern literature, "Inheriting the Earth" and "Imagining Home," which were published by the University of Minnesota Press.

Schuler was awarded a Literary Arts Fellowship in poetry by the Wisconsin Arts Board in 1997. He has read his works at numerous higher education institutions throughout the Midwest. His poems and essays have appeared in "Northeast," "Hummingbird," "The Wisconsin Academy Review," "Abraxas," "Dacotah Territory," "Tar River Poetry," and many other journals.
