Wyman Series Sets Dance Performance

The 1997-1998 UW-River Falls Wyman Series continues with a performance by Jocelyn Gorham, a member of Ragamala Music and Dance Theater. Her performance, "Love, Duty and Demons"-South Indian Dance, will take place in the North Hall Auditorium on the UW-RF campus on Nov. 21.

Gorham has an extensive background in modern and Middle Eastern dance. She has performed locally and internationally as a soloist and with the Nancy Hauser Dance Company, Jawaahi Dance Company, and the Children's Theater Company. Her program explores such subjects as devotion, destruction, seduction and duty in this interesting evening of music and dance.

Tickets for the public are $5 at the door. The performance is free to students with a valid UW-River Falls I.D.

The Wyman Series brings a variety of performers and speakers to campus throughout the year for the enjoyment of students and community members. For more information, call 715/425-4911.
