Humor In Teaching Workshop Set For Grantsburg

A workshop on using humor as a teaching tool will be offered in Grantsburg through UW-River Falls.
"Infusing Humor in the Classroom" is scheduled as a one-credit undergraduate or graduate course. It will be taught from 4:30-9 p.m. on Nov. 6 and 8:30-4:45 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the Grantsburg High School.
The instructor is Bob Kann, who holds a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from UW-Madison and has more than 15 years experience as an educator and family entertainer.
The course will explore techniques for using humor to motivate students. Participants will explore the logic of humor and a wide variety of tools that educators can use to turn their classrooms into more productive, motivational communities.
