UW-River Falls Area Resident Hall Councils will continue the tradition of "Halloween
in the Halls" with a variety of festivities including community trick-or-treating
on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 6-8 p.m.
The Area Councils feel that this event will be beneficial to children because
the residence halls provide warm, well-lit areas for the Halloween activities.
Planned activities include door-to-door trick-or-treating, games, refreshments,
and a haunted house.
Children in grades K-5 from Greenwood, Westside, Rocky Branch, and the Montessori
Charter Academy Elementary Schools have been invited to participate in the Halloween
events on campus. Each grade is assigned to a specific residence hall.
Kindergarteners and first graders are assigned to Parker, Prucha, and Hathorn
Hall. Second and third graders are assigned to McMillan, Stratton, and Crabtree
Hall. Fourth and Fifth graders are assigned to Johnson, Grimm, and May Hall.
All children and parents are invited to the basement of Grimm Hall for a "haunted
house." This event will take place from 7-9 p.m. and is $3 per person or
$2 per person with a canned food item.
Johnson, May, Prucha, and Stratton Hall are located on the west end of the campus.
Hathorn Hall is located in the center of the campus. Parker, McMillan, Crabtree,
and Grimm Hall are located on the east end of the campus. For more specific
directions, call the Leadership Center at 715/425-4911.
