Author William Trowbridge to Read at UW-RF
William Trowbridge, distinguished professor of English at Northwest Missouri State, will read from his works at a Student Reading Series presentation on Friday, Oct. 26, at 3:30 p.m. in the breezeway of the Chalmer Davee Library.
Trowbridge has published three collections of his work with the University of Arkansas Press and has placed more than 250 others in periodicals such as Poetry, The Kenyon Review, PrairieSchooner, Black Warrior Review, Shenandoah Review and The Gettysburg Review.
He has been awarded several fellowships and honors, including a Yaddo Fellowship, a MacDowell Fellowship and a Breadloaf Scholarship. He has twice been a finalist in the National Poetry Competition, and has been co-editor of The Laurel Review and asistant editor of The Georgia Review.
The public is welcome to attend the reading. Trowbridge¹s books will be for sale, and he will be available for signing.
