Career/Life Planning Workshop Scheduled

Seeking a career transition or job enhancement?

UW-River Falls Continuing Education Extension is offering a workshop providing assistance in defining career goals, assessing interests, preferred work characteristics and transferable skills.

The workshop will be held Tuesdays, Oct. 29-Nov. 19, at 6:30-9:15 p.m. in Room 141, Kleinpell Fine Arts Building. The cost of the workshop is $74, and includes assessments and a packet of materials.

The workshop will also provide assistance in locating occupational and employer information, decision-making, and developing an action plan to achieve set goals.

The workshop is conducted by Carmen Croonquist, Counselor/Instructor at the UW-River Falls Career Center and is encouraged for those seeking career transition and job enhancement.

Part of the workshop includes the completion and interpretation of the Self-Directed Search and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Other sessions will be spent exploring the career and employer resources information available in the UW-River Falls Career Resource Center.
