UW-RF Senior Outreach II Classes Scheduled
Religion, literacy and literature will be the focus for Session II of Senior Outreach Studies at UW-River Falls.
The session will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 14, and Thursday, Oct. 16, and will continue on those days for an additional three weeks on the UW-River Falls campus. Each class will consist of a presentation, a coffee break and a discussion period.
The Tuesday classes, "Morning with a Professor," will feature a potpourri of information in the presenter's area of expertise or interest. Presenter and topics are as follows:
The Thursday classes are titled "Another Look at Literature" and will include presentations on the many facets of literature. Presenters are as follows:
Classes will be held in the Presidents Room of the Hagestad Student Center from 9-11 a.m., and are open to all area seniors age 55 or older. Limited parking will be available in the lot on the corner of Oak and Spring streets, across from the Student Center. A permit will be issued the first day of class.
