UW-RF Welcomes Alumni During Homecoming Weekend
UW-River Falls has scheduled activities and events for visiting alumni and friends
over homecoming weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 23 and 24.
On Saturday, alumni and friends are encouraged to join their classmates and
others for a continental breakfast and refreshments in the deli area of Hagestad
Student Center from 10 to 11 a.m. The Student Advancement Association will provide
a 45-minute guided campus tour, departing from the deli area at 10:30 a.m.
From 11 a.m. through halftime of the football game, friends, parents, and alumni
are invited to attend Freddy’s Tailgate Party, under the pavilion at Ramer
Field. A brat and beer feed will take place near the concession stand. The homecoming
game between the Falcons and UW-Stout will kick off at 1 p.m. at Ramer Field.
In addition, the College of Business and Economics have a pre-Homecoming celebration
week Oct. 18-22. Alumni speakers from each of the eight undergraduate CBE majors
will be on campus to talk about their careers and career opportunities for the
upcoming graduates. A complete schedule of activities for CBE celebration week

•The Alumni Marching Band reunion will meet at Bo's 'N Mine, Main Street,
River Falls, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For more information contact Jeanne

•An athletic championship team recognition luncheon will begin at 10:30
a.m. This reception and luncheon will pay special recognition to the 1964 baseball
team, the 1984 football, wrestling and men’s hockey teams, and the 1994
men's hockey and softball teams. For further information, contact the Office

•The football alumni reunion will begin with a team breakfast at 9 a.m.
in Rodli Commons. Following the game, a 5th-quarter reception will be held at

•A health and human performance reunion will be begin at 11 a.m. at Freddy's
Tailgate Party at Ramer Field followed by a post game reception at 3:30 p.m.

•Phi Nu Chi alumni are invited to a continental breakfast in the Falcon’s
Nest of Hagestad Student Center beginning at 9 a.m. •The reunion will
continue to Freddy’s Tailgate party at Ramer Field followed by the football
game and a post-game reception at Coach’s Sports Bar. For more information

•Theta Chi alumni are invited to an annual meeting at Chapter House with
a cookout to follow the meeting. For further information call the Theta Chi

•UW-RF alumni who are armed forces veterans are invited to join former
Vets Club members for a special reception with complimentary appetizers and
a cash bar from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Presidents Room of the Hagestad Student
Center. After the game join them at Johnny’s Bar, Main Street, River Falls.

•The UW-RF Jazz Ensemble will put on a homecoming concert at 8 p.m. in
Abbott Concert Hall in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building. Tickets are available

Sunday, Oct. 24 Events:
•The Alumni Homecoming Concert will take place on Sunday. An alumni choir
rehearsal will be held at 10 a.m. in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building. A mass
choir rehearsal will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the same building. The concert
is scheduled for 3 p.m. in the William Abbott Concert Hall. Tickets are available
at the door. A $5 donation is requested. The program will include selections
by UW-RF Chamber Singers, Alumni Choir, UW-RF Concert Choir, Combined Choirs,
