UW-RF Hosts All-Campus Career Fair
Employers can still register for the UW-River Falls annual all-campus
Career Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Karges Gymnasium.
The UW-RF Career Fair give students, employers and graduate school recruiters
the opportunity to meet one-on-one regarding careers, job opportunities, internships
and graduate school programs.
The fair helps students develop their networking skills, speak with employers,
and evaluate their marketability in their field of interest. Students at any
level of study are encouraged to attend the career fair. First- and second-year
students will learn about possible career paths from the many businesses attending.
Sophomores and juniors may find possible internship opportunities to gain valuable
work experience. Seniors will be exposed to a variety of future job opportunities.
Last year more than 1,997 students and faculty attended the Career Fair.
So far more than 60 participating employers and graduate school are represented
including Accelerated Genetics, AFLAC, Ecolab Inc., Frito Lay, Mayo Clinic,
Shopko, U.S. Army, University of Minnesota, and more. A complete list of businesses
