Senior Outreach Studies Classes Set
Special programs on health care issues and on area artists are the emphasis Session I of Senior Outreach Studies at UW-River Falls. Classes will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 9, and Thursday, Sept. 11, and will continue on those days for an additional three weeks on the campus.
Each class will consist of a presentation, a coffee break, and a discussion period.
The Tuesday classes, "Information Please: Health and Safety," will explore topics concerning health care. Presenters and topics are as follows:
The Thursday classes are titled "Area Artists" and will include the following presenters:
Classes will be held in the President's Room of the Hagestad Student Center from 9-11 a.m., and are open to all area seniors age 55 or older.
Limited parking will be provided at the lot on the corner of Oak and Spring Streets, across from the Student Center.
Senior Outreach members will receive material concerning the classes by mail. Others may contact the Outreach Office at 715/425-3256 or 800/228-5607 to obtain information on class fees and registration procedures.
