UW-River Falls to Present "Story Theatre"

The St. Croix Valley Summer Theatre will present the children's play "Story Theatre" at the UW-River Falls Blanche Davis Theatre in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building July 10-11 at 2 p.m. and July 12 at 10 a.m.

"Story Theatre," by Paul Sills, is a sequence of fun-filled stories adapted from the Brothers Grimm fairy tales and Aesop's Fables. The cast will use improvisation to bring tales such as "The Golden Goose," "The Fisherman and His Wife," and "Henny Penny" to life. Associate Professor Ken Hill from Ripon College in Ripon will direct. He is also directing "You Can't Take It With You" for the St. Croix Valley Summer Theatre.

The St. Croix Valley Summer Theatre Box Office, located in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building on campus, and is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It also opens one hour before each performance. General admission is $4. For more information. call 715/425-3114 or 800/228-5423.
