UW-RIVER FALLS PRESENTS "YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU"
The St. Croix Valley Summer Theatre will present "You Can't Take It With You" at the UW-River Falls Blanche Davis Theatre in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building July 9-12, and July 16-19. All performances are at 8 p.m.
"You Can't Take It With You," by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, follows the comic adventures of the members of the eccentric Sycamore family and their wild friends.Theatre Professor Ken Hill from Ripon College in Ripon will direct.
Sophomore Hope Yeager, a theatre major from River Falls, is in charge of promotions and publicity for the play. Junior Wayne Yeager, a theatre major from River Falls, is the shop foreman and plays the role of Mr. DePinna. Recent graduate John Stevens, a speech communications major from Columbia Heights, Minn., is working in the scene shop and plays the role of Mr. Henderson. Sophomore Peter Potyondy, a social studies major from Woodbury, Minn., and senior Jeremy L. Maybrey, a speech communications major from Blaine, Minn., are also working in the scene shop. Junior Brad Jennings, an English major from Chetek, plays the role of Donald.
Journalism Professor Emeritus Michael Norman plays the role of Martin Vanderhof. Physics Professor Eileen Korenic plays the role of Penelope Sycamore.
The St. Croix Valley Summer Theatre Box Office, located in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building , is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It also opens one hour before each performance. For more information, call 715/425-3114 or 800/228-5423.
