UW-RF Fall Admissions Still Open
UW River Falls will be registering a larger than usual number of new freshmen for the fall semester.
Admissions Director Alan Tuchtenhagen estimated that 1,200 new freshmen will enroll this fall and that there will be approximately 400 transfer students. That class size is larger than the 1,100 new freshmen that UW-RF typically admits.
Tuchtenhagen said that applications from qualified new students are still being considered and that on-campus housing and financial aid are still available. He explained that with the current state of the economy, many area students are continuing to make last-minute decisions whether to attend college. He said UW-RF is attempting to accommodate the needs of those who decide to attend the University.
Students interested in applying for fall term and who meet the University's admission requirements should contact the UW-RF admissions office at 715/425-3500 or e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
