National Search OK'd for UW-RF Chancellor
The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents on Friday authorized a national search to recruit a new chancellor at UW-River Falls.
The action came during the Board's regular meeting in Madison.
Chairing the Regents selection committee is Charles Pruitt, who is a partner and co-managing director of A.B. Data, Ltd, a direct-response marketing firm based in Milwaukee. He is also a board member of Children's Outing Association and the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation. Pruitt is a former assistant professor of political science at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., and the President's Marketing Task Force for Macalester College.
Other regents assigned to the committee are Danae Davis of Milwaukee, Nino Amato of Madison, Jesus Salas of Milwaukee, and Eileen Connelly-Keesler of Oshkosh.
A salary range was assigned from $168,621 to $206,093, based on salaries at 33 similar institutions in surrounding states.
UWS President Katharine Lyall is expected soon to announce the selection of faculty, staff, students and community members for a UW-RF search committee.
The search is to seek a successor to Chancellor Ann Lydecker, who died in a traffic accident in March.
