Symphony Band Presents An Afternoon of Chorales

The UW-River Falls Symphony Band will be presenting a concert in Abbott Concert Hall of the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 30.

Thomas Barnett, UW-RF assistant professor of music, will be featured on trumpet. Selections will include "Eternal Father, Strong to Save," "All Creatures of Our God and King," "Chaconne," "Be Thou my Vision," and "Trumpet Concerto" by Giuseppe Tartini.

Directed by UW-RF Associate Professor of Music Kristin Tjornehoj, the Symphony Band draws a wide following from the St. Croix Valley and beyond, with concerts pleasing to the young and the old.
