Summer Session Registration Open At UW-RF
Registration for summer session classes at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is now open. Students who return to the St. Croix Valley area this summer can gain college credits by taking courses at UW-RF.
Summer courses offer many opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students. Dean Leon Zaborowski of Outreach and Graduate Studies suggests that students consider using summer courses to lighten their course load during the regular semester or to graduate early.
"Since class sizes are typically smaller during summer session, students can receive more personal attention from their instructors," Zaborowski said. Summer session can be an optimal time for students to re-take a required course or get a tough course out of the way, he added.
Numerous courses and international travel opportunities are offered between May 27 and Aug. 15. Course offerings and descriptions are available on the Outreach and Graduate Studies Web site at www.uwrf.edu/summer.
