Ready to Fill Tank

Preparation for the Oden Cruise is in its final stages.  The shipping crate was produced at UW-River Falls,  shipped to the University of Delaware for tank installation,  and they are now in a freezer container in Uppsala, Sweden. These photos show this progression. Once the tank has been filled with water, it takes approximately 45 days before it freezes completely. Shown in the photos is Professor Allan Hallgren, from the  Angström Laboratory in Uppsala. Professor Paul Evanson from the University of Delaware is the principal investigator of the project.
