Second Crate Build

IceCube 2007 Home

These three photos show the modification to the new crates. The tops and bottoms are now used to hold the un-folded sunshade brackets. This allowed us to make room to fit two dom holders in crate widthwise, three lengthwise, and four vertically.

This picture shows how the sunshad framework fits into the crate

Here is a picture showing how the foam blocks were packed into the crate.

On the other side of the crate we put the new sunshades. They are rolled up this year instead of folded to prevent dammage to the fabric. There are two complete sunshades per roll.

This is what the crate looks from the sunshade side with the framework in.

In this photo you can see the pipes towards the top of the crate.

The next six pictures show the supplies that were packed along with the crates.

This shows the crate fully packed complete with sunshades, tools, and parts.

Luke, Justin, and Alex are glad that they are done.
