Falcon Action Network is a new strategic initiative that will provide you with the means to be an effective advocate on behalf of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. It will also ensure that resources and sound public policies are in place so that future generations of students will thrive at UWRF.
Many of the UW System campuses have aligned with the Alumni for Wisconsin mission which is to create a public dialogue about the importance of higher education in our state.

Catch the UWRF spirit every Friday. Let’s celebrate our affection for our University with “UWRF Spirit Day” each Friday, all year around. I’m encouraging all faculty, staff and students—all 7,000 of us—to wear clothing emblazoned with our University name, or logo, or seal, or mascot to remind everyone in our region and the state that we are proud of the UWRF mystique. I am encouraging our more than 35,000 alumni to join us, too. Please join me in catching the UWRF Spirit every Friday. --Chancellor Don Betz

The University Community celebrated the accomplishments of the 2006 Distinguished Alumni during a day long event on Friday, February 16th. The event honored Dr. William Boehm and Dr. Donald Babbitt. Dr. Boehm gave a morning presentation titled “In Retrospect….Ten Life Lessons,” about ten big personal “discoveries” throughout his career and personal life that has become crystal clear over time. It’s all about succeeding in life, not just business. Katherine Babbitt, representing the late Dr. Babbitt, also attended the day’s events and made a presentation to students in the morning.
