In 1988, the Office of University Advancement and the WESTconsin Credit Union joined efforts to create a credit card program for alumni, staff, faculty, and friends of UW-RF. Each time cardholders use their cards, WCU returns a percentage of each purchase to the UW-RF Foundation. The Foundation uses those funds to support the UW-River Falls Community Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded each year to a student who meets the criteria. Over time, the goal is to grow the fund so that multiple scholarships may be awarded to deserving students. To date, the fund totals over $27,000. More
