 Living the PromiseA guide. A blueprint. A strategy for “moving the barometer and achieving what we value.” That’s how Chancellor Don Betz describes the university’s new five-year plan. “Living the Promise” is the result of an inclusive, year-long process involving hundreds of faculty, staff and students during academic year 2006-07. Working groups developed initiatives and set tasks to accomplish five operational and five developmental (infrastructure) goals. The plan is proactive and future focused. “If UWRF were to do nothing over the next several years, we would still change because of the forces impacting our future,” Betz points out. “But we have an opportunity to mold that change.
