The council will hold a breakfast meeting on Friday, September 27, 2013, at 7:00 a.m. in the Dining Room. Institutional or organizational representatives wanting to discuss any matter with the council, including hosting future conferences, should contact the council chair to be placed on the agenda.
The 49th NGPHC will be hosted by the University of South Dakota and will occur in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, from October 8 to October 11, 2014.
The theme is “The War to End all Wars: A Century of Consequences.”
2014 is the centennial observance of the beginning of World War I. We encourage papers that address the war's origins, the war itself, and its cultural, diplomatic, economic, military, political, and social consequences. We also welcome papers on all other topics.
The conference hotel is the Holiday Inn Sioux Falls-City Centre. The Thursday evening reception will be at the Old Courthouse Museum. For further information, contact Dr. Steven J. Bucklin.
