You and your colleagues are invited to submit proposals for papers and sessions for the 2013 Northern Great Plains History Conference. The theme, Many Peoples is meant as a guide not as a restriction so proposals may address any area of U. S. or World History. Sessions will be structured for graduate and undergraduate student proposals.
Submit a proposal with title and brief description of the paper along with a one page vita. Proposals should be sent to Dr. Victoria Houseman, Victoria.housman@uwrf.edu. While digital proposals are preferred, hard copy can be sent to:
Dr. Houseman, History and Philosophy Dept,
University of Wisconsin River Falls,
410 S. Third St., River Falls, WI 54022.
The conference is exploring Saturday morning and afternoon sessions which relate to K-12 teachers. These sessions may concern teaching content, new trends in teaching or historiography, or sharing lesson ideas and concepts on a specific topic. These proposals should also be sent to Dr. Houseman.
Thank you, we look forward to seeing the proposals.
